This episode is a bit dramatic and once again the soundtrack plays a big role in shaping that atmosphere. Similar to the previous episode, the focus is placed more on the competitors rather than Erika herself. That said, the anime does a good job of breaking up the heavy tension during Hikari’s turn, offering a brief moment of relief. However, the stakes are clearly rising and the next episode is likely to be much more tense especially since her performance could ultimately decide whether the team wins or loses the competition.
