Takumi Nishijo, a high school student in Shibuya, becomes involved in a series of gruesome murders after receiving mysterious pictures and witnessing a crime. He suspects a pink-haired girl, Rimi, is linked to the crimes, even though he has no memory of her, and his paranoia grows as more murders occur. The story deepens when Takumi learns about "gigalomaniacs," individuals who can project delusions into reality, leading him to question what is real and what is illusion. The Nozomi Group, a powerful organization, is at the heart of these events, using a machine to manipulate minds and incite chaos among the public. As Takumi uncovers the truth about his own origins and the people around him, his world becomes more entangled in a web of deception and dangerous technology, all while he tries to make sense of his own role in the unfolding chaos.
