This was a frustrating episode to watch. The entire second half of the black witches’ meeting felt like it was repeating a lot.

Episode Context

Episode 3's revelations about curses and Luna's hidden history directly fuel this confrontation. Episode 4 is the payoff of that setup, pushing Luna into a position where she must fight for what she believes against the witch establishment. Sitting one-third into the 12-episode run, this is a critical turning point that reframes Luna's commitment to the boy's future as the series' central throughline. Everything that follows will likely stem from the consequences of what happens at this council.
