Episode Context

Following the premiere's establishment of Luna's solitary life and her guarded relationship with the nearby town, episode two introduces a pivotal personal connection that will drive much of the season's emotional stakes. This is early-season groundwork. Luna's growing bond with Henri begins complicating her identity as a black witch, threading into the larger conflict between black and white witches. The stage is being set directly for episode three, 'The Cursed Youngling,' where the consequences of Luna's choices start to surface.
