(Covers ch 23-26 of the manga) There is a small alteration with the sequence of events and some parts in the manga are omitted. Don't worry though there isn't any omitted fan service scene 😏😅. It's a good thing the chains isn't a CGI on Yuki's transformation but i prefer the design of sparkling stars form in the manga than the anime. The anime should have shown more awareness of how draining the lending ability, Kyouka almost passed out in the manga from the sparkling stars form even though it was just a scouting form.

Yipeee new powers! Now it's for you to find out how he got them! Also, it looks like there would be a love triangle, or worse, love square, or much worse, a love harem for Yuuki! So excited who he'll end up with!

the emotional touch is stronger for me and action is very impressive, I feel the the characters have more depth while keeping the intensity high

Episode Context

Chained Soldier downshifts from the high-intensity combat of recent episodes to give Nei Ookawamura her moment in the spotlight. Episode 8 is a character-driven installment that prioritizes relationship building over battlefield stakes, exploring the dynamic between Nei and Yuuki Wakura through themes of trust, vulnerability, and mentorship. Expect the show's signature blend of ecchi comedy woven between genuine emotional beats as Nei's clairvoyant abilities get proper attention. The pacing is deliberately slower, allowing space for introspection and lighthearted team interactions that flesh out the Seventh Unit's chemistry. At the two-thirds mark of the season, this episode rewards viewers who've invested in the ensemble cast rather than those chasing pure action spectacle. A necessary breather that deepens connections before the final stretch.
