(Covers ch 5-9[first half] of the manga) There are some skipped scenes in the manga but I guess it is acceptable since it's just a small amount. If I have to compare the fight scene with the manga then they are equally good, they are a bit different but the quality is still the same. Those two antagonist girls wasn't supposed to be revealed this early and the older sister wasn't supposed to get injured 🤷‍♂️. The anime reward scene wins over the manga this time but the manga still wins on the expressions of the character. The little segment after the ED helped fill up the information that was supposedly be revealed in the previous episode.

The flashback I just saw would probably be a key and the main plot on why these people are fighting for something! In short, we've seen their motivation!

It is so thrilling to see how yuki is managing all the ladies and I love the action scenes, it keeps you hooked.

Episode Context

The stakes ratchet up hard in episode three. After two episodes establishing the 7th Squad's power dynamics and Yuuki's role as Kyouka's slave, this entry shifts into darker, more personal territory. Expect a significant tonal escalation, the action sequences hit heavier, and the emotional weight behind them carries real tension. Kyouka takes center stage here, and the episode peels back layers of her composed exterior without losing momentum on the combat front. The pacing strikes an effective balance between high-energy Shuuki battles and quieter moments of character introspection that give the fighting actual consequences. The ecchi elements remain present but don't undercut the intensity. This is the episode where Chained Soldier signals it has more on its mind than spectacle alone, vengeance, personal trauma, and the cost of power all simmer beneath the surface.
