(Covers ch 31-33, 35[first half] of the manga) The studio decided to cover up some important information, maybe they have been bribed the the demon defense force? 😏😅. There is an omitted information on Aoba's side and I hope it will be revealed on the next episode. The sequencing isn't bad but if it resulted in omitting an important information then it cancels out. The episode isn't that great but it isn't mid, if I have to choose between then it leans more on great.

this one gives a thrilling escalation with big battles and those shifting dynamics is something nice to watch. Entry of the creepy old man is amazing.

Episode Context

Episode 10 marks a sharp tonal shift as Chained Soldier enters its endgame stretch. The series leans hard into strategic confrontations, with alliances fracturing and character loyalties tested in ways that reframe earlier dynamics. Kyouka, Yuuki, and the enigmatic Naon Yuno take center stage as the episode peels back layers of motivation that have been building all season. The pacing runs hot, action sequences hit with urgency, but the episode earns its weight through moments of genuine introspection between the combat. Expect the ecchi elements to take a backseat here as moral ambiguity and the cost of power become the driving themes. This is the episode where the show stops playing around and commits to raising the stakes heading into the final stretch.
