EPISODE REVIEWS

This episode gives new characters room to shine, presenting interesting personality contrasts and adding color to the team dynamic.

Episode Context

Episode 7's lighthearted summer break served as the season's last exhale before things get serious, and Episode 8 is the hard pivot toward the Yokohama conflict that will likely dominate the final stretch. Sitting at the two-thirds point of a 12-episode run, this installment functions as the connective tissue between downtime and all-out war, establishing the key authority figures and factional tensions necessary for the escalation ahead. Everything here is designed to raise the stakes so the coming battles carry real narrative weight.
