This episode was a total masterpiece, the fight was insane and the Azuma´s family proves why they are the best family in this serie 🛡️✨ Plus, the animation quality just jumped to a new whole level 💥 Finally, the story is actually moving forward 🚀

Seeing the Azuma family drama finally get some closure was a solid move. The animation for Himari's ability was high quality during the climax, and the shift in leadership felt like a major turning point for her character. It really rounded out the story nicely. :)

This episode delivers a strong emotional escalation without sacrificing the action. The interpersonal tensions built up earlier begin to reach a fever pitch, giving every decision on the battlefield greater weight.

Himari using Learning to copy Commander Ezo's Mato Destruction Power was the highlight. The Heaven form vs Uzen's Sunset spear fight was well animated. Uzen saying that was only 10 percent of her power was such a flex lmao.

HIMARI SAID LEARNING AND COPIED COMMANDER EZO'S WHOLE MOVESET?? The way she stood up for Kyouka against Uzen had me in TEARS. And Uzen flexing that was only 10% of her power girl PLEASE sit down you're scaring the children.

Himari's Learning ability finally gets to shine. Copying Ezo's Mato Destruction Power mid-fight was a great payoff for her character arc. Uzen claiming 10 percent power felt like standard shonen posturing but the Heaven form fight was well animated.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at the exact midpoint of Season 2's 12-episode run, 'A New Azuma' follows directly from 'The Azuma Banquet,' which introduced the family's internal power dynamics and set the table for this deeper dive into the sisters' relationship. This episode serves as the emotional foundation for the Azuma subplot, establishing character motivations and tensions that will clearly pay off in the back half of the season as the broader Shuuki conflict escalates.
