Even though the animation wasn't my type, I'm really impressed with how smooth they move especially during battle. Anyway, this episode basically gives us a peek at the 'main character'. Alongside that were the underlying nuances of the volunteer army's 'leader', especially after what happened at the castle in episode 1. I think the most interesting part of this episode was the mystery about Aram, which both ep 1 and this ep 2 were building up for. When something 'impossible' seemed 'possible' with Aram, as well as the slow, subtle breaking of Yuri in spite of the clinging hope he had.
