Episode Context

This is the first half of a two-part Meiji Restoration-themed travel mystery, following the conclusion of 'The New Teacher's Skeleton Case' two-parter. It directly sets up 'The Meiji Restoration Mystery Tour (Hagi Arc),' which continues the historical investigation into the next episode. As a filler arc, it sits outside the main Detective Conan storyline but offers a self-contained adventure for fans of the series' regional mystery specials.
