Episode Context

This episode lands directly after the tense two-part 'Bullet Train Transport Case' (episodes 240–241), serving as a deliberate cooldown with a lighter, standalone mystery. It carries no overarching plot threads, instead offering a character-focused palette cleanser before the 'Kogoro Mouri Impersonator' arc kicks off in episodes 243–244. Think of it as a brief rest stop that spotlights the Detective Boys' group chemistry between heavier cases.
