Episode Context

This is the second part of a three-episode Mermaid Island arc, following Episode 222's setup where the group arrived and first encountered the island's strange mysteries. Episode 223 deepens the investigation and raises the stakes heading into Episode 224, 'And There Were No Mermaids (The Resolution),' where the full truth comes to light.
