Episode Context

This episode arrives as a breather between serialized storylines, following the 'Magic Lover's Murder Case' and preceding the two-part 'The Old Blue Castle Investigation Case.' As a self-contained filler, it has no bearing on Conan's larger narrative threads, skipping it won't leave gaps, but it offers a clean, enjoyable one-off mystery for fans who appreciate the Detective Boys dynamic.
