There was genuine tension at the start, and Conan, Amuro, and the team solved the mystery quickly and cleverly. But when we got to the real reason behind the kidnapping, it turned out way too trivial compared to all the horror and suspense that was built up.

This felt a little underwhelming once the twist was revealed. I honestly thought it would become more thrilling. But since Mori wasn't involved, I guess it made sense that it wasn't that big of a case, lol.

This episode wasn't bad, but it wasn't particularly good either. The fact that it was a canon episode was actually a little surprising. There wasn't much suspense or a shocking reveal here. It just didn't really work for me. 🫤
