The scenes felt like they were cut, and the transitions weren't that smooth. Or was it just me? Lol. But the plot was actually enjoyable to watch. I really loved Conan and Sonoko's dynamic here. It was pretty amusing.

This episode leaned more on Sonoko and Conan's characters since it focused primarily on them. It was a pretty entertaining episode, and the plot was so intriguing that it kept me watching all the way through to the end.

I really missed these kinds of plots with Sonoko, Ran, and Conan together. I liked this episode, though the story flow was a little rough. It was still understandable, though. Overall, it was such an intriguing episode but didn't really have some surprising scenes that was mind-blown.

Episode Context

Episode 1203 is a self-contained canon mystery sitting between two separate cases, offering a tonal detour into folk horror without advancing any overarching Black Organization or main-plot threads. It follows Episode 1202's standalone case and feeds into Episode 1204, continuing the season's rhythm of episodic mysteries that showcase the core trio's dynamic. For long-running series fans, this episode represents the reliable case-of-the-week format Conan does best.
