Episode Context

This is a standalone commemorative special celebrating Detective Conan's 30th anniversary, positioned between unrelated cases, Episode 1186's 'Girls Day Mystery 4' and Episode 1188's 'Follow Them! Detective Taxi 3.' It doesn't advance any ongoing plot threads but instead enriches the series' foundational lore by revisiting Shinichi's life before becoming Conan. For fans deep into the series or newcomers curious about its origins, this episode functions as both a love letter and a compelling entry point into the franchise's emotional core.
