If you're an avid reader of Conan's manga (and the anime as well), you will sense the complicated dynamics of the Mouri's family. I love this movies since it captures that nuance perfectly without losing the detective-side of Conan and the whole police squad. Also, this is quite a standalone movie that can be enjoyed even if you're not a big fan of Detective Conan
