Episode Context

Coming off Episode 4's more domestic Clow Card challenge, Episode 5 downshifts entirely into a standalone filler that introduces new side character Maki Matsumoto and her shop Twin Bells, expanding the series' world beyond card-hunting duties. Still very early in a 70-episode run, this installment prioritizes world-building and character warmth over plot progression, setting a precedent for how the show will regularly balance magical adventures with grounded, community-driven stories.
