Episode Context

Sitting at episode 13 of 47, this episode arrives right after Nankatsu SC navigated serious adversity in 'Bring Down the Keeper Wakabayashi!' and now pivots outward to introduce the broader competitive field. It functions as a tournament-entry gateway, establishing the key rivals, Matsuyama, Misugi, and the Tachibana Twins, who will shape the season's defining matches. Think of it as the calm before the storm: the rivals are set, the stakes are clear, and the tournament is about to begin in earnest.
