This was a fun start. The characters were easy to like, and the conversations felt natural. I enjoyed how the story introduced everyone without rushing, and it made me curious about what would happen next.

“Best friends” they say, but none of their interactions feel casual at all lolol. I found both Yuu and Himari to be such interesting and adorable characters (although we see Himari crossing a few boundaries). I’m not too excited about the possible love triangle, hope they don’t lean too hard into that trope.

Himari being cheerful and straightforward while Yu is more reserved and slightly awkward, and it also introduces Yu’s interest in flower language as a subtle symbolic element in their relationship. Although everything feels light and natural on the surface, small moments and reactions begin to hint that their feelings may not be as simple as they claim, especially as their dynamic shows signs of underlying tension. Overall, the first episode mainly serves as a setup, establishing their strong friendship while foreshadowing that their “just friends” status will eventually be challenged.
