Something is clearly being set up here. Both sides are developing on their own, great to see progress in both the plot and the main story. Well, it’s the story’s basis, but the buddy-buddy talk midfight really annoys me. Reaching the final climax as we watch the confrontation become head-on.

I’m really satisfied with the action in this episode. The fight feels like a true back-and-forth. There’s a solid plot twist too. At first it looks like Godou wins, then it turns out he doesn’t. The enemy takes the lead, but then Godou flips it again, and the enemy counters right after. That kind of action, where the MC and the enemy keep swapping skills and adapting on the spot, is what makes it stand out. What a masterpiece.
