Overall, a satisfying ending. I think it leaves some things unresolved or that could be explored in more detail, but the resolution is clear. I feel that this episode (considering it came out several years ago) resonates much more strongly today, given the REAL cases of AI-induced psychosis. Surely in Japan (being such a technologically advanced country with severe cases of loneliness), there have long been signs of people seeking escape from their lives through a fabricated reality tailored to their desires. This anime, although its animation quality sometimes suffered and it was rather short on episodes for the entire story it had to tell, is incredibly good. I highly recommend it. And this final episode definitely stirs up a lot of emotions, even prompting some personal questions.
