📖 SYNOPSIS

"Byulbyul Iyagi 2" is a compilation of six animated shorts produced by the Human Rights Commission of Korea, each offering a unique perspective on societal norms and the experiences of those who deviate from them. The stories include "The Third Wish," where a visually impaired woman receives three wishes from a fairy godmother, and "Ajukari," a street-style cartoon satirizing male insecurities. "Baby" portrays the struggles of a career woman considering motherhood, while "Shine Shine Shining" tells the story of a young girl hiding her curly hair. "Merry Golasmas" uses claymation to explore physical discrimination in a Santa Claus audition, and "Lies" delves into the pressures faced by a homosexual man. The film, nominated for Best Animated Feature, uses diverse animation styles to address themes of disability, gender roles, cultural identity, and sexual orientation.
