EPISODE CONTEXT
Sitting at the exact halfway mark of the 10-episode season, this episode follows the power upheaval in Episode 4 where Gaff's bold claim to kingship reshaped the political landscape inside the castle. Episode 5 uses that disruption as a catalyst for introspection rather than immediate retaliation, giving Adonis and Belle room to evolve before the narrative pivots back to external threats in Episode 6, 'Absurdity: Asking the Voices of Swords,' where Gwyn's band faces renewed danger in the castle depths.
