The Tunnel Ant hunt is fun. The slum kids' introduction is heartwarming. Wist's anxiety moment is genuinely touching. And the festival preparations give everything a cozy forward momentum. The show is at its best when it's about Ryoma connecting with people and helping them grow. This episode delivers that in spades.
The new character introduction is funny and the character's personality is unique. to say the least. Plus we get bits of action and Ryoma's kindness that touches the hearts around him. Did catch some moments where the animation was off and lines overlap; made the faces look wrong.
Episode 8 offers a harmoniously crafted entry that proves adventure and emotion can coexist without sacrifice. While it isn’t flashy, it stays genuine, emotionally powerful, and nicely grounded—clearly showing why the series delivers both comfort and inspiration.
