EPISODE REVIEWS
It's not bad, but it's not great either. The new town and new characters are fun, but the Smash Boar incident feels like manufactured drama that doesn't fully pay off. Miyabi deserved better than to have her moment ruined off-screen.The expansion of Ryoma's business empire is satisfying, and the katana subplot adds some long-term interest. But this episode lacks the cozy warmth that defines the best episodes of this show.
Episode 3 is a charming installment that broadens the setting while staying true to the elements that make the series unique. It blends touching scenes with exciting action.
A sweet episode with Ryoma and his slime, he is such a hardworking kid. The pace of this episode is nice and it leaves a good cliffhanger. But this being a more slice-of-life series it makes everything quite predictable.
