Louisa was trying to find Francis and wants him back to lead the Guild. This is his way to become an antihero of some sort for this series.

The settings perfectly portrayed an atmosphere full of suffering and despair, while the character development is equally impressive to watch. Francis is an entertaining personality, his responsible side unexpectedly shines through despite his eccentric personality.
