Amazing flashback story between Mori and Fukuzawa while they are clashing directly in a duel to the death for the removal of the virus. Intense fight and great animation and theatrics.

The background and color design perfectly supported the flashback atmosphere, it was nice to see the complicated Fukuzawa and Mori’s relationship. At the same time, the story keep flipping expectations with unexpected moments, especially watching Dazai handle his subordinates.
