It was genuinely satisfying and as a slice of life show, it exactly lived up to my expectations. The visuals, the storyline, the character development and the soundtrack everything comes together in the most satisfying way imaginable, although if there is one thing I feel it lacks, it's that the soundtrack could have been a bit more noticeable and prominent. Even so everyone should watch it at least once. Overall 9/10 show in my opinion

I love this ep, the fight for freedom, the freedom itself, the idea of having a normal life, the aftermath of everything. I love this ep because it shows what is after all the chaos it does not stop its creates new opportunities, and I love the animation, the new faces, the new setting the changes and everything in between, I love how it was ended and the future is beautiful, more series like this really cures all this childhood traumas

Honestly, this ending felt really warm but kinda sad at the same time. It didn’t go over the top, just kept things simple and emotional. I liked how it focused on their bond and growth. It felt like a proper goodbye without forcing drama.

Rei and Kazuki deciding to quit being hitmen.
They choose Miri over their old life, knowing it won’t be easy. It’s a turning point, less action, more resolve, showing that being a real family means walking away from violence for good.

EPISODE CONTEXT

As the final episode of a twelve-episode run, 'Daughter Daddies' picks up directly from Episode 11's escalating stakes, where Kazuki and Rei's commitment to protecting Miri was pushed to its breaking point. This finale serves as the resolution to every major thread — the assassin lifestyle, the found-family dynamic, and the personal growth arcs for both daddies — delivering a definitive endpoint to the season's central question of whether killers can become a real family.
