Okay, this was a pretty hype finale. even knowing about the truth of Hina, actually witnessing the consequences of her Time Leap was actually heartbreaking. The visual did so well in making the endless tragedy, and the hopeful ending at the end actually felt earned and heartwarming. Zogilia so far has been shown to have more tech prowess than the Alliance, but this is the first episode that called out the economical repercussion of it and I would have loved to see more of THAT from previous episodes.
A breathtaking, emotionally resonant season grand finale. The animation goes completely all-out during the final dogfight, utilizing incredible 3D camera sweeps and blazing rainbow-colored energy wakes as Aoba, Dio, and Hina synchronize together. It wraps up the first season with phenomenal kinetic action and a beautiful, hopeful sunrise sequence.
