I keep going back and forth on whether I should root for Ellie. This episode she got special merchant status by outsmarting a whole council then immediately turned around to plan the destruction of an entire kingdom. She's not the misunderstood villainess trope. She's actually evil and that's what makes this work

The council scene was so tense. Watching Ellie walk in with that sealed letter knowing she had the contract ready for every objection they'd throw at her. Dark Hawkins tried so hard to block her and she just had a signed piece of paper waiting. Capitalist King energy
