Ep. 5 is a balance of suspense and character development. The vibe stays tense, but the quiet interactions help strengthen the cast and their relationships. An engaging episode that keeps the story moving without losing its emotional core.
There’s a bit of comedy in this anime, but from what I’ve seen so far, it’s all good and not cringey. The way they deliver it feels natural. Anyway, it was a good episode with a lot happening. Being doubtful is good at this point in the episode, and Kana’s prediction shouldn’t be ignored because of her magic.
What's really taking the high marks for me here are the offhand comments I swear LOL. It's not necessary at all to the plot and it makes any character mentioning it quite out of character themselves. Anyway, back to the what the actual plot is - we might be heading deeper into some serious stuff for the next few episodes. As much as the episode started out calm, the happenings that followed makes it clear how dangerous it is to trust others for the witches. Let's see how they'll overcome this part.
