Episode Context

Coming off the external pressures of 'At the Port of Call,' this episode pivots sharply inward, exposing the fault lines within the Novis Noah itself rather than threats from outside. Sitting at episode nine of twenty-six, it marks a transitional beat in the season's first half, deepening the human stakes before the narrative broadens again. It feeds directly into 'Temptation of the Plates,' where the fallout from these internal conflicts begins intersecting with the larger forces shaping the world around the crew.
