Synopsis
Absent-minded schoolgirl Yoriko Kusumoto only has eyes for Kanako Yuzuki. After planning for their summer trip, their journey comes to a premature and brutal end when Kanako is found severely wounded on train tracks and Yoriko in tears on the station's platform. Shuutarou Kiba, a detective who happened to be on the train that hit the girl, takes up the investigation. However, he discovers that the mystery behind this case is intertwined with an intricate network of deceptions involving the Yuzuki family, especially its most prominent member, Youko Yuzuki—a famous actress and Kanako's sister. Although Kanako survives after surgery, her critical state prompts Youko to entrust a doctor, Dr. Koushirou Mimasaka, to take care of the girl in an ominous, box-shaped facility in the forest where she will receive experimental treatment. But soon after, on a night where Kiba and Yoriko visit Kanako, the convalescent suddenly vanished. Now searching for her whereabouts, the burden on Kiba dramatically grows when he learns about other gruesome discoveries: limbs of young girls in boxes. Kiba is suggested by a colleague that the macabre findings are related not only to Kanako's disappearance but also to the truth behind her sister. As the investigation continues, the detective—enlisting the help of his partners Tatsumi Sekiguchi and Akihiko Chuuzenji—has to find a way to solve this series of crimes and find Kanako back.

This episode is a gem! The star revelation of everything that happened, unexpected twists, action, climatic, music, everything was brilliant and disturbing at the same time. Magnificent, I loved it!
Too many revelations, and wow, what chills being inside that abomination after everything that happened, it definitely makes you feel quite uneasy!
Finally, we got some answers, but with this new situation, a fresh suspect, and fast-paced actions, things are about to get chaotic.
An impressive mega-battle! It's so great when the smartest character steps in. The truth hit hard and it was amazing, but uh-oh, an unexpected twist is about to change everything
Wow, is he Kubo?! This episode finally advances the story the way it should, and the emotional impact on Yoriko's family relationship was just perfect!
Lots of assumptions and Yoriko is back. The case is finally pointing to a suspect and feels closer than ever. Eno is such a fun detective!
Kyogokudo turns the episode into an info-dump of definitions, making it a bit heavy, but it's finally going somewhere.
A new character breaks the flow a bit. A medium? I don't know. It blends an investigation with a religious weird vibe, interrupting the pacing. Still, the dynamic was great!
The time shifts confuse me a bit, but the way they mixed spiritual beliefs and testing the point via an experiment, is fascinating.
What a way to start! Truly following the character's footsteps like it was me in the situation with Sekiguchi, plus new clues linking to Kanako's disappearance. I love the sound design, it gives me chills!
Slow steps bring more cooperation and the mystery thickens, yet no hints for the cliffhanger. The cube building's vibe is even creepier and even more the way the chapter close is awesome!
New characters introduced and it gets interesting! I dislike Yoriko, but she's vital. The simultaneous timeline intro across different places is awesome, adding so much suspense!
A strange start. Everything looks normal until we get to know Yuzuki. Their friendship revolves around a deeply dark idea.
Episodio final digno de ver. Se terminan de contar algunos detalles por resolver, se revela una verdad inesperada y ocurren sucesos violentos.
Un episodio que nos muestra la realidad de todos los hechos de una manera espectacular. Se resuelven todos los misterios antes de que Kiba perdiera los estribos. Un final bastante inesperado y dan ganas de terminar este anime de una vez por todas.
Teniendo en cuenta el final del episodio anterior, se tiene información sobre el otro sospechoso y el detective Kiba tiene la delantera y actúa primero. Nuevamente un buen final con suspenso.
Qué locura de episodio. Se destaca por tener un enfrentamiento cara a cara de entre dos personajes y un final completamente inesperado, dejando con intriga y con ganas de ir de inmediato al siguiente episodio.
Nuevamente se avanza bastante bien en el caso, hasta el punto de saber quién es el responsable de todo. Se podría resumir en misterio, suspenso e investigación este episodio. Y el final le da ese toque de querer ver enseguida el siguiente episodio.
Bien, ya volvimos a la investigación de los casos y se tiene un avance significativo. Datos, cooperación entre personas y suspenso es lo que muestra este episodio.
El episodio lo sentí muy pesado con tanta historia innecesaria para explicar cierto término la verdad. También se avanza muy poco con la investigación, solo nombran a un sospechoso y ya.
