Episode Context

Episode 147 serves as the climactic finale of the Hozuki Castle (prison) arc, directly following 'Executing the Prison Break!' where Boruto's team set their escape plan into motion. Everything the arc has built, the infiltration, the alliances, the threat to Kokuri, converges in this confrontation. Its resolution closes out this storyline and leads directly into Episode 148, 'A New Mission!!,' which pivots Boruto and his comrades into an entirely new arc.
