Episode Context

Positioned within the time-travel filler arc, this episode follows 'Jiraiya's Assignment,' which established the training framework, and deepens the collaborative dynamic between Boruto, young Naruto, and Jiraiya. It serves as a bridge episode, building emotional groundwork and tactical preparation before the anticipated confrontation with Urashiki in the next episode, 'The Power to See the Future.' Skipping it won't break continuity, but it enriches the character relationships that pay off in the arc's climax.
