Hard to take that fight scene seriously with how bizarre the enemy mech looked while getting beaten up. Whatever deep symbolism they were going for definitely got lost in how goofy it actually looked.

Everything is adding up! Now the big question is for me is what is the enemy! A lot of facts and information has been explained already except for one! A really important one. Before we reach the half, at least let us find out what it is! Too much flashbacks in an episode!

Episode Context

At episode 8 of 24, Bokurano is approaching its first major structural turning point, characters and themes established in the opening act are now being stress-tested. Following episode 7 ('Hurt'), which likely deepened the series' emotional wounds, this episode sharpens that pain into something more directed. The subsequent episode 9 ('Family') suggests a thematic shift toward intimacy and personal connection, making 'Revenge' a crucial pivot between raw conflict and introspection.
