This episode was flat out bad. Bloating an already packed plot with random new elements isn't useful storytelling, its just jumping the shark. Fix what is already there before adding more noise.

I wonder how this anime would end. Since majority of the raised questions has been answered, we are now familiar with the plot. is there even a chance to find a loop hole to the system? Excited for it to end!

Episode Context

Coming off Episode 20, 'Fate,' which pushed the characters through another brutal turning point, 'Truth' shifts the focus inward, processing consequences rather than driving new action. At episode 21 of 24, the series is deep in its endgame, with the larger mysteries of the children's situation crystallizing into something more definitive. This episode bridges directly into Episode 22, 'Journey,' suggesting that whatever is revealed or confronted here will set the emotional and narrative trajectory for the final stretch.
