📖 SYNOPSIS

"BOFURI" follows Kaede Honjou, who begins playing a virtual reality MMO at her friend's urging. Determined to minimize any in-game pain, Kaede, under the character name Maple, invests all her stat points into Vitality (VIT). This unconventional build results in a slow, magic-less character easily defeated by even the weakest enemies. However, her dedication to defense unlocks powerful, unexpected skills, including "Absolute Defense," rendering her virtually invulnerable.

As Maple explores the game world, she discovers a "Counter Skill" and other unique abilities, allowing her to overcome challenges and defeat powerful foes. Despite her initially weak appearance, Maple's unique playstyle and accidental power lead her on a series of adventures, forging friendships and attracting attention within the game's community.
