Episode Context

Sitting at the exact halfway mark of the 25-episode season, Episode 12 follows the ExWires' deep-sea demon encounter in Episode 11 and serves as a critical pressure test for Rin's ability to contain his powers in a group setting. The events here directly feed into Episode 13, 'Proof,' where the fallout from Rin's struggles comes to a head, making this a linchpin episode that bridges the team-building first half with the more consequence-driven back half of the season.
