Episode Context

Sitting at the two-thirds mark of this 12-episode saga, Episode 8 is the event the entire 'Blue Night' arc has been named after, the preceding episode, 'The Night Before,' functioned as the calm-before-the-storm setup, and this installment detonates everything that was loaded. What follows in Episode 9, 'Fight to the Death,' signals that the fallout from this pivotal turning point will demand immediate, desperate action. This is the hinge episode of the season: everything before it was escalation, everything after will be consequence.
