Episode Context

Following episode 10's confrontation with Satan and the personal losses Shiro and Yuri endured, 'Promise' pivots to the aftermath, specifically Shiro's pivotal decisions regarding the twins that will define everything moving forward. As episode 11 of 12, this is the critical bridge between the season's climactic action beats and the finale, 'Thank You,' where the consequences of these choices fully materialize. The entire Blue Night Saga has been building toward this moment of reckoning, and the groundwork laid here is essential to the emotional payoff of the conclusion.
