Episode Context

Arriving after the devastating events of Episode 6, this is a necessary decompression point still early in Blood+'s 50-episode run, squarely in the first act. It processes the emotional fallout while hardening Saya's determination, bridging the initial mystery-and-horror setup with the larger conflict that will define the series going forward. The groundwork laid here in character motivation and group dynamics directly feeds into the escalating stakes of the episodes ahead.
