Episode Context

Episode 26 lands directly at Blood+'s halfway mark, following the pivotal events of 'The Red Shield' where Riku's transformation reshuffled the group's dynamics. This episode processes that fallout while reorganizing the core cast's motivations and alliances aboard the ship. It functions as a crucial bridge episode, setting the stage for the narrative's geographic and tonal shift toward Paris in the episodes ahead.
