Studio Bones kicks off a phenomenal two-part climax that brilliantly subverts the classic kaiju genre with a deeply personal, heartbreaking twist. In "Desperate Fight in the Macro Zone, Part 1," the narrative hits Leo where it hurts the most when his frail, frequently bullied friend, Riel, is tragically transformed into a titanic, vicious monster capable of destroying Hellsalem's Lot. The mastermind behind this chaos isn't a massive ancient deity, but a sinister, microscopic terrorist exploiting Riel's desperation for strength. The episode masterfully builds a sense of overwhelming dread and tension as LIBRA is forced into a corner, trying to stop a city-wide catastrophic rampage while Leonardo desperately fights to save the soul of his friend. Backed by a booming, cinematic orchestral score, this Part 1 is a masterclass in high-stakes suspense and action storytelling.

LOVED this episode😭🫶🏻 the hightlight of it all was hands down Sonic🥰 I’m a sucker for little tiny animals so this one definitely did it for me HAHA. The plot they had for Riel was also really interesting, especially with the tiny flea doctor thing😭 still amazed how no episode in this series is boring. Literally every part of it is so fun to watch
