I am so tired of these Bounts and I want to see the Arrancars already because this soul sucking bug plot is moving at a snail's pace

Spending so much time on these Bitto swarms when the Aizen reveal was so massive feels like a huge distraction

Episode Context

Episode 81 follows directly from a major enemy assault in Episode 80, pivoting toward the Soul Reapers' defensive response as the Bounts intensify their campaign against Karakura Town. This installment serves as connective tissue within the anime-original Bount arc, establishing the stakes and strategic groundwork ahead of Episode 82's more direct confrontations involving Ichigo. It's deep into the filler stretch that runs through much of this portion of Bleach's original broadcast run.
