Episode Context

Sitting at episode 70 of 366, this lands squarely in the anime-original Bount arc that follows the conclusion of the Soul Society saga. The previous episode introduced the Bounts as a new threat, and this installment deepens that conflict while reuniting Ichigo's full team for the battles ahead. It sets the stage for escalating confrontations with the Bounts, whose schemes will continue to entangle the cast over the coming episodes.
