Finding out Aizen was alive this whole time and slaughtered the entire Central 46 is actually terrifying

Imagine seeing your captain alive and he just shoves a sword through your chest without even blinking

Episode Context

Landing at episode 60, this installment follows the explosive Ichigo versus Byakuya confrontation and pivots to the Soul Society arc's deeper conspiracy thread, the real endgame behind the rescue mission. It functions as the calm-before-the-storm episode where hidden agendas are dragged into the light, directly setting up the arc's climactic betrayals and final confrontations that define the next stretch of episodes.
