Episode Context

Episode 366 closes out the 'Lost Substitute Shinigami' arc and serves as the final episode of the original Bleach anime run, bringing resolution to the conflicts and revelations that escalated across the preceding episodes. It builds directly on the confrontations established in episode 365, delivering closure to Ichigo's arc within this storyline while reflecting on his broader journey. The episode also functions as a narrative bridge, leaving enough open for the series' eventual return with the Thousand-Year Blood War arc years later.
